Job description
A well-established primary school in Liverpool (L4) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term cover basis starting in January 2025. This role will involve supporting a Year 1/2 class teacher in providing full-class support, as well as assisting with small groups and offering 1-1 support to students as needed. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in education and be confident in supporting children with special educational needs.
About the Role:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Term-time only
- Working hours approximately: 8:30am – 3:30pm daily
- Key Stage 1 (Year 1/2) Teaching Assistant
- £85 – £110 per day
- Start date: January 20, 2025 (dependent on availability)
Requirements:
- Previous experience supporting children in a school or childcare setting is essential.
- Must hold or be willing to obtain a UK Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Valid UK Right to Work documents (e.g., UK passport, working visa, etc.)
