This is an exciting role for a full time Learning Support Assistant at a welcoming primary school in Salford. You’ll support primary-aged children, including those with additional needs, helping them thrive in their learning journey.
The Learning Support Assistant Role:
- Start Date: ASAP, full time.
- Contract: Long-term, with potential for permanency.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–3:30 pm.
- Pay: £90–100 per day (DOE), paid directly through Now Education – no umbrella companies!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist in the classroom, providing support to both individual pupils and small groups.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help children develop confidence, social skills, and a love for learning.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to deliver tailored support for each child.
- Encourage independence and celebrate each child’s achievements.

What We’re Looking For:

- A valid DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Two professional references.
- Experience working with children is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
