Now Education is recruiting a full-time, long-term Brickwork Lecturer to work in a thriving Further Education (FE) College in Manchester, delivering Level 1 to Level 3 Brickwork courses — covering both practical workshops and classroom-based theory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver Bricklaying lessons across Levels 1, 2, and 3
- Teach both practical skills and construction theory in line with current industry standards
- Support learners of all abilities to achieve their qualifications
- Carry out student assessments and progress tracking
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to curriculum planning and development
Essential Requirements:
- Recognised qualification in Brickwork/Construction
- Relevant industry experience in bricklaying or construction
- A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) OR willingness to work towards one
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply)
