If yes, this could be the opportunity for you. Now Education are currently working with a well-equipped & supportive OUTSTANING SEN school based in Morden. They are currently looking for staff to join their primary site to support students with Complex Needs, ASD and Sensory Difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with complex needs, assisting them with their learning and personal development.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create and implement individualised support plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional well-being.
- Assist with personal care tasks, including feeding, toileting, and mobility support, as required.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents/guardians.
- Support students during outings and extracurricular activities, ensuring their safety and engagement.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a SEN setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the individual needs of students.
- A positive and proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
