Now Education in Manchester are currently working with a mainstream primary school in M32, Stretford, Trafford, who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Class Teacher on a long term cover basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who is looking to make a positive impact on young learners and work in a supportive, engaging school environment.
Role: Year 4 Class Teacher at primary school in Stretford, Trafford.
Start: ASAP.
Pay: Up to £205/day DOE – paid PAYE direct via Now Education.
Paid to scale from the 13th week onwards of your placement.
Contract: Long term & Full time, Monday to Friday 8:30am-3:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging KS2 curriculum based lessons that meet the needs of all pupils in the Year 4 class.
- Assess and monitor the progress of students, providing feedback to pupils and parents.
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel supported and motivated to learn.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and school leadership to ensure the best outcomes for all students.
- Ensure the emotional well-being and academic development of pupils in your care.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a productive and respectful learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Have experience teaching Year 4 OR other KS2 age groups.
- Be able to deliver engaging lessons across a wide range of subjects in the primary curriculum.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
- Have a passion for teaching and a commitment to improving outcomes for all pupils.
- Be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Be adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently.
