This is a role for a Primary Teaching Assistant at a lovely & welcoming primary school in central Manchester. Easily accessible by bus or train.
Primary Teaching Assistant
- Primary school in central Manchester.
- Full time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.
- Long term, could go perm eventually.
- Starting ASAP in February.
- £90-100/day DOE.
- Paid PAYE via Now Education.
- Equal pay perm staff from 13th week onwards.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide Teaching Assistant group support in Key Stage 1.
- Give additional support to children and young people who may have learning, behaviour or emotional needs.
- Collaborate with teacher to help deliver activities and keep children focused.
- Contribute to an safe, fun & inclusive environment that encourages the student’s social and academic growth.
- Offer 1 to 1 support to pupils as & when required. This could be academic interventions in numeracy & literacy or pastoral support.

What We Need from You:
- A detailed CV outlining your education and work history.
- Proof of Right to Work & Address in the UK.
- A valid DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- At least 2 professional references.
- Evidence of previous experience supporting primary aged children.
- A proactive, enthusiastic and hard-working approach.
