Now Education Manchester are hiring for a hard working and motivated Primary Supply Teacher looking for ad hoc, part time & short term opportunities in outstanding primary schools!
At Now Education in Manchester are currently working mainstream primary schools in Salford, Manchester and Trafford, who are often in need of ad hoc & short term cover. This is a fantastic opportunity for QTS teachers who are looking to make a positive impact on young learners and work in a supportive, engaging school environment while working around other commitments or aspirations.
Role: Primary Supply Teacher in outstanding primary schools in Salford, Manchester and Trafford.
Start date: ASAP.
Pay: Up to £220/day DOE – paid PAYE direct via Now Education.
Contract of Services: Ad hoc, day-to-day, part time, short or medium term in length.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging primary curriculum based lessons that meet the needs of all pupils in the class you are covering.
- No planning or marking required for ad hoc or short term roles!
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel supported and motivated to learn.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and school leadership to ensure the best outcomes for all students.
- Ensure the emotional well-being and academic development of pupils in your care.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a productive and respectful learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold UK QTS or QTLS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- ECTs & Overseas Teachers with equivalent qualifications invited to apply as well.
- Have experience teaching primary age groups.
- Be able to deliver engaging lessons across a wide range of subjects in the primary curriculum.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
- Be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Be adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently.
What We Offer:
- Ad hoc, day-to-day, part time, short term or medium term placements (Monday to Friday, Term Time Only).
- Competitive daily rates and paid PAYE with Now Education. We don’t use umbrella companies!
- Dedicated consultant who will you support you throughout your placement.
- Referral Scheme paying £250 for a successfully referred QTS Teacher (T&Cs apply).
What We Need from You:
- An up to date CV including a full education and work history.
- Proof of Right to Work & Proof of Address in the UK.
- A valid DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- At least 2 professional references.
- Previous primary teaching experience.
- A positive, proactive, enthusiastic and hard-working approach is a must!
