Supply Teacher needed for Primary schools in Salford!

Now Education are currently working with mainstream primary schools across Salford who are seeking an enthusiastic & proactive Primary Supply Teacher staff for ad hoc and short term cover.

 

This is a great opportunity for a qualified teacher who is looking for work around other commitments or someone who is looking to gain experience in a variety of settings.

 

Role: Primary Supply Teacher at primary schools across Salford.

Start date: ASAP.

Pay: Up to £200/day DOE – paid PAYE direct via Now Education.

Paid to scale from 13th week of placement onwards if in a long term role.

Schedule: Day to day or short term supply placements. Availability for work up to 5 days per week if wanted.

 

You must have at least 2 days worth of availability each week to be eligible for this flexible work.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cover lessons of permanent staff who are absent for a variety of reasons.
  • Follow schools safeguarding & behaviour policies.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel supported and motivated to learn.
  • Differentiate your approach for individual needs, levels and interests.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and school leadership.
  • Ensure the emotional well-being and academic development of pupils in your care.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a productive and respectful learning environment.
  • Participate in some briefings as and when required.

 

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
  • Have a passion for teaching and a commitment to improving outcomes for all pupils.
  • Be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Be adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently.

What We Need from You:

  • An up to date CV including a full education and work history.
  • Proof of Right to Work & Address in the UK.
  • A valid DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
  • At least 2 professional references.
  • Overseas Police Check (only if applicable).
  • Evidence of previous primary teaching experience.
  • A proactive, enthusiastic and hard-working approach.
