Teacher pay scale + SEND allowance
NOW Education are working in partnership with an ASD SEND school in Newham, who are in need of an SEND Teacher. This teacher is required ASAP and will run through til July 2024 and beyond for the right person.
With this increase in class sizes at the school as well, means more staff are needed.
We are looking to appoint teachers and in the following areas:
· Primary and Secondary trained teachers, wanting to make the switch over to a SEND school
· Current SEND teachers looking to secure a new role, which could become permanent for the right member of staff
· Pay to scale with SEND allowance
· Fantastic SLT team in place
· State of the art school building and facilities
The school offers an education for students aged 2-19 which specialises in ASD and complex needs. 60% of the students are non-verbal, so this person will need to be patient, calm and engage with the students.
The school is part of a specialist education academy trust, which specialise in SEND.
