Now Education is working with a mainstream primary school in the Liverpool Walton area (L4), who are currently recruiting a number of full-time SEN Teaching Assistants (LSAs) to support individual pupils on a 1:1 basis across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
These roles are due to start in October 2025, and the school is aiming to interview shortlisted candidates in the coming weeks. Each position is tailored to support a pupil with additional needs and will require a caring, patient and adaptable individual who is confident working with children with additional needs.
About the Roles:
- Full-time, 1:1 Learning Support Assistant positions (Monday to Friday)
- Roles available across all key stages: EYFS, KS1, and KS2
- Supporting children with a range of SEND needs, including ASD, ADHD and communication delays
- Working closely with class teachers to implement tailored strategies and support plans
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assisting with social, emotional and academic development through targeted intervention
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs, ideally in a primary school, early years or childcare setting
- Strong understanding of strategies to support children with autism, ADHD, or speech and language needs
- A calm, consistent, and nurturing approach
- The ability to build trusting relationships with pupils and maintain clear boundaries
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to contribute to wider school life
