Now Education is excited to be recruiting a dedicated and passionate Reception Class Teaching Assistant to join a friendly mainstream primary school in the Liverpool, Huyton L36 area. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young learners in their early education journey while making a positive impact on their academic and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in supporting children’s learning and development in the reception class.
- Support in the preparation and organisation of classroom activities and resources.
- Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating learning environment.
- Promote positive behaviour and support students in their social and emotional development.
- Help implement lesson plans and work with small groups or individual students.
- Support children with Special Educational Needs, ensuring they are engaged and progressing.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting.
- A caring, patient, and positive approach to working with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
