Primary teaching assistant | Harborne | Long term, short term and day to day.
The primary team at Now Education are currently looking to recruit teaching assistants to work within fantastic schools located in the Harborne area. The successful candidates would be joining supportive teams within well run schools.
The roles available would be 8.30am – 3.30pm each day, Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with the class teacher to create a positive learning environment within the class room.
- Communicate effectively with staff, children and parents.
- Provide individual and group support to pupils, and monitor student progress.
- To manage behaviour expectations within the class.
- Be flexible in your approach when working with the children.
Candidate specifications:
- A relevant teaching assistant qualification or relevant degree.
- Experience of working within a primary school setting.
- Have experience of working with children who have additional needs.
