We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Teaching Assistant at an outstanding rated primary school in the middle of Salford. Easily accessible by bus, train or tram.
Job
- Primary Teaching Assistant
- Two form entry primary school in Salford.
- Full time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.
- Long term, could go perm eventually.
- Starting ASAP..
- £90-105/day DOE.
- Paid PAYE via Now Education.
- Equal pay perm staff from 13th week onwards.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide group support in Key Stage 2.
- Some young people have additional learning or behaviour needs.
- Collaborate with teacher to help deliver activities and keep children focused.
- Contribute to an safe, fun & inclusive environment that encourages the student’s social and academic growth.
- Offer 1 to 1 support to pupils as & when required. This could be academic interventions or pastoral support.

- A valid DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- At least 2 professional references.
- Evidence of previous experience supporting primary aged children.
