This is a role for a Primary Teaching Assistant, starting ASAP on a full time & long term basis at a lovely primary school with a great reputation in the Stretford area of Trafford, Greater Manchester.
Role: Primary Teaching Assistant at two-form entry primary school in Trafford.
Start date: ASAP
Contract: Long term. Temp to perm for the right person.
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Excellent pay: £90-105/day DOE – paid PAYE direct via Now Ed. We don’t use umbrella companies!
Role
You will be required to support a small group of children in Key Stage 2 with Special Educational Needs (SEN). They are looking for someone who is adaptable, as the needs of the children vary however none are severe and mostly involves Learning Difficulties, Autism and Social & Emotional Needs. You will need to work closely with the class teacher to aid in the delivery of lessons while monitoring behaviour and catering for children’s individual needs. It will require you to liaise with school management, parents and outside professionals in order to provide holistic care and education for each pupil. Requirements
- CV with full history from education to present.
- Right to Work & Proof of Address in the UK.
- DBS certificate on the Update Service (or be happy to apply for a new one).
- Min of 2 professional references.
- Overseas Police Check if applicable.
- Some experience supporting primary aged children with SEN.
