Primary Teacher

Now Education are working with an amazing Primary academy in Scunthorpe and we are recruiting for an enthusiastic and confident KS1/KS2 Primary Teacher on a supply basis.

As a Primary Teacher, you will create a stimulating learning environment for the students and ensure you are helping them in their educational development. You will be responsible for delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum. You will work closely with parents, carers and colleagues to create a positive relationship and promote a collaborative approach to education. Planning is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Deliver creative and engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of the pupils in KS2.
  • Utilise a range of teaching strategies and resources to enhance the learning experience.
  • Monitor and track pupils’ progress, providing appropriate interventions when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching within the KS2 curriculum, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum requirements.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, parents, and carers.
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo the process through Now Education.
