Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic Female PE Teacher who is committed to promoting physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle among our students. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging PE lessons that cater to students of all abilities, ensuring a safe and positive environment for physical activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive PE lessons for KS3 and 4 including GCSE.
- Conduct physical education classes that include a variety of sports, fitness activities, and wellness programs.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages all students to participate and reach their full potential.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Organize and oversee extracurricular sports activities, including inter-school competitions and sports events.
- Collaborate with other staff members to integrate physical education with other aspects of the school curriculum.
- Promote the importance of physical health and well-being within the school community.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during PE classes and activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification in Physical Education.
- Previous teaching experience, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of a variety of sports and fitness activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to develop a love for physical activity.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
