Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a school on a part time basis (3 days per week) at a School in Wigston, which is graded as ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various scientific disciplines and will be committed to fostering a stimulating learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement engaging lessons that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
- Conduct laboratory experiments, ensuring safety protocols are followed while encouraging hands-on learning.
- Communicate effectively with students to explain complex concepts in an understandable manner.
- Manage classroom behaviour through effective behaviour management strategies.
Requirements
- A degree in Science or a related field; teaching qualification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of scientific teaching methods.
- Qualified Teacher Status (ideally)
