Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 including GCSE.
- Foster a love of music and creativity in students of all abilities.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of our students.
- Organize and lead extra-curricular music activities, including choirs, bands, and school performances.
- Support students in their personal and academic growth, contributing to a positive school culture.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the music curriculum and share best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A degree in Music or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for music education.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a dedicated team.
