Maths Teacher

Now Education are working in partnership with a brand new academy in Radcliffe who require a Maths teacher to work on a long term and full time basis.

The role will start from September and continue until the end of the academic year, working Monday – Friday 8.30am-4.00pm.

The role is open to both Early Career Teachers and more experienced members of staff

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students

  • Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with the national curriculum

  • Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and student progress

  • Work collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school staff

  • Take responsibility for a form group.

The Ideal Candidate.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Committed to providing a high quality educational experience for all.
  • Experienced with students who have a range of SEND such as Autism, ADHD, Global Delay and SEMH.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching mathematics

  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3/KS4, including GCSE.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • Able to commit to a long-term role through to the end of the academic year
