Now Education are delighted to be working in partnership with Manchester College who are seeking an enthusiastic Foundation Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.
You will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons to students who need extra support with their mathematical understanding, helping them build confidence and achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality foundation maths lessons tailored to diverse learning needs.
Support students in developing fundamental numeracy skills through engaging and accessible teaching strategies.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and additional support where needed.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student confidence and participation.
Requirements:
A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
Experience teaching maths at foundation or entry level.
A passion for supporting students with varying learning needs.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
A commitment to continuous professional development.
