The basics:
- Role: Maths Teacher at a high school in Salford.
- Start: ASAP.
- Contract: Full time & long term – could go perm eventually for the right person.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am-3:15pm.
- Pay: Up to £230/day DOE – paid PAYE direct via Now Education.
- Paid to your usual scale rate from 13th week onwards.
- Easily accessible by bus, tram, train or car, with on-site parking.
What you’ll do:
- Ability-based grouping, ensuring targeted support for all learners.
- Smaller class sizes including children with SEND with a range of needs & levels.
- Inclusive school culture, promoting confidence, resilience, and independence.
- Work closely with pastoral and SEN teams, ensuring every student reaches their potential.
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons up to GCSE level, catering to a range of abilities and learning styles.
- Support from teaching assistants and staff to create a positive learning environment.
- Track student progress, providing meaningful feedback to students and parents.
- Prioritize well-being, fostering personal growth alongside academic achievement.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, ensuring a focused and respectful classroom.

- Must hold UK QTS or an equivalent qualification.

- Previous experience as a Maths Teacher, Teacher of Maths, SEN Teacher, SEND Teacher, Special Needs Teacher.
