Now Education are currently working with a vibrant SEND School, based in the heart of Morden, who are looking for a Level 3 SEND Teaching Assistant to join them on a long term basis. This role will be supporting within the Primary side of the school.
Duties:
– Work closely alongside the class teacher to differentiate learning and ensure it is tailored to individuals’ needs
– Carry out small group and 1:1 intervention and booster sessions
-Ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment is maintained
– Working closely with OTs, Nurses & SALTs to ensure all children have suitable support
– Cover classes when necessary
Requirements:
– Minimum 1 Year within a SEND School
– Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent
– Strong communication skills
– An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
