Are you an passionate & dedicated KS1 Primary Teacher looking for a full time & long term opportunity in an inclusive and collaborative school?
Now Education in Manchester are currently working with a forward thinking mainstream primary school in Salford, who are seeking an enthusiastic & proactive KS1 Teacher to start ASAP until Summer 25, full time, with the potential to turn permanent after that.
Role: Primary Teacher / KS1 Teacher at Good rated primary school in Salford.
Start: ASAP.
Contract: 5 months up to Summer 2025. Could go perm after that.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am-3:30pm.
Pay: Up to £220/day DOE – paid PAYE direct via Now Education, we don’t use umbrella companies!
Equal pay to perm staff in same role from 13th week of your placement onwards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging KS1 curriculum based lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
- Assess and monitor the progress of students, providing feedback to pupils and parents.
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel supported and motivated to learn.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and school leadership to ensure the best outcomes for all students.
- Ensure the emotional well-being and academic development of pupils in your care.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a productive and respectful learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS or QTLS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
- ECTs and Overseas Teachers with equivalent qualification invited to apply.
- Be able to deliver engaging lessons across a wide range of subjects in the primary curriculum.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
- Have a passion for teaching and a commitment to improving outcomes for all pupils.
- Be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Be adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently.

What We Need from You:

- A valid DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- At least 2 professional references.
- Evidence of previous primary teaching experience.
- A proactive, enthusiastic and hard-working approach.
