Now Education in Manchester are recruiting for an SEMH school in the High Peak area, who are seeking an enthusiastic & proactive Primary Teacher to start ASAP until Summer 25, full time, with the potential to turn permanent after that.
The Basics:
Role: SEMH Primary Teacher / SEMH Teacher at a small SEMH school in the High Peak area.
Start: ASAP.
Contract: Until the end of the Summer term 2025. Could go perm after that.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am-4pm.
Pay: Up to £220/day DOE – paid PAYE direct via Now Education, we don’t use umbrella companies!
- Equal pay to perm staff in same role from 13th week of your placement onwards.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have QTS or QTLS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
- Be able to deliver engaging lessons across a wide range of subjects in the primary curriculum.
- Demonstrate strong classroom & behaviour management skills.
- Have a passion for teaching and a commitment to improving outcomes for all pupils.
- Be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Be adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently.
What We Need from You:
- An up to date CV including a full education and work history.
- Proof of Right to Work & Address in the UK.
- A valid DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- At least 2 professional references.
- Evidence of previous primary teaching experience.
- A proactive, enthusiastic and hard-working approach.
