As an English teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students, while working within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive English lessons to secondary students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and supports individual learning needs.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback on student progress in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create and implement effective schemes of work and resources.
- Utilize a range of teaching methodologies, techniques, and resources to enhance student learning.
- Monitor and manage student behaviour to maintain a conducive learning environment.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with parents and caregivers to ensure a collaborative learning experience.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Strong subject knowledge in English and a passion for teaching.
- Ability to adapt teaching techniques to cater to different learning styles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with primary/secondary students.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to actively contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities.
