Early Years and Childcare Teacher

Now Education are delighted to be working in partnership with a dynamic and nurturing sixth form college who are committed to providing high-quality early years and childcare services. They are looking for a teacher of EYFS and childcare to teach Level 2 & 3 Childcare including T level, who believes in fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, exploration, and the holistic development of every child.

Senior staff at the college are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years and Childcare Teacher to join their team.

The successful candidate will play a key role educating students in how to create a positive and engaging educational experience for children in their formative years.

As an Early Years and Childcare Teacher, you will be responsible for championing a methodology that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in a safe and inclusive setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and deliver lessons which educate students in EYFS and Childcare
  • Demonstrate the importance of supporting the unique needs of each child.
  • Conduct regular assessments and observations to track and monitor students progress.
  • Maintain a safe and clean learning environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Relevant teaching certification such as PGCE or Cert Ed.
  • Proven experience working with children in an early years or childcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Passion for early childhood education and a genuine love for working with students.
  • Creativity and the ability to design engaging and stimulating learning activities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Team player with a collaborative and positive attitude.
