Curriculum and Performance Manager – Engineering and Automotive

Now Education are working in partnership with one of the UK’s leading apprenticeship providers who have an exciting opportunity for talented professionals to come and join their team in the position of Curriculum & Performance Manager.

In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the curriculum including management of learning coaches, ensuring implementation and effective operation of end-to-end learner journey processes, curriculum design and innovation, learner progression and quality of provision.

This role is offered on a permanent, full time (37 hours per week) basis, working primarily on a  remote basis, with national travel – Northwich (office), Crewe (Engineering dept) & London (Bus & Coach dept), required, at least once a week. Car allowance is provided for this.

In order to be successful in your application you will need to meet the following essential criteria:

  • Hold or work towards Certificate in Education (level 4) or equivalent
  • Vocational experience in one curriculum area of responsibility (L3)
  • Maths and English at L2 or equivalent
  • Experience of creating and delivering high quality learning programmes
  • Ability to multi-task and handle a fast-paced work environment
  • A willingness and ability to work unsocial hours (eg: occasional evening work) to meet the needs of the business as required
  • A willingness to travel to meet the needs of the business
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to support the development of teams
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and be self-motivated
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with a diverse range of people.

The following criteria are desirable, not essential.

  • PGCE
  • QTLS
  • Management qualification
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant quality assurance systems particularly the education inspection framework
  • Experience of delivering multi-site / national learning programmes
  • Good IT skills
  • Evidence of problem identification and solving abilities.
