Key Requirements:
To be considered for this Cover Supervisor role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Have previous experience working in a UK secondary school (within the last 2 years)
- Hold a degree-level qualification (any subject considered)
- Possess a strong standard of Maths and English (GCSE Grade C/4 or above or equivalent)
- Be confident managing classroom behaviour and following school policies
- Be available for work during term-time (Mon–Fri)
Responsibilities:
As a Cover Supervisor, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4 during teacher absences
- Delivering pre-set work to students across a range of subjects
- Managing student behaviour in line with school policies
- Ensuring a safe, focused learning environment
- Reporting back to teaching staff on pupil progress and conduct
