Now Education are working with a challenging SEN School that are looking for an Behaviour Support Assistant/TA to join their enthusiastic and motivated team for a February start and are happy to consider staff that are immediately available.
The school are looking for Behaviour Assistants who have had previous experience working with secondary aged children that are committed to making a positive change in the education sector.
Duties of the role include:
- Support and motivate students in your care on a 1:1 basis, including vulnerable learners that struggle with attendance, pupil premium students etc.
- Liaise with parents and the SENCo team
- Oversee behaviour, attendance and welfare concerns
- Monitor and manage behaviour and report pupil progress to year group tutors
- Develop lesson plans and strategies to manage behaviour
In order to apply for the role, you must have:
- Full time availability
- Previous experience in the role and at least 1 year experience working with secondary aged children
- Excellent behaviour management
- Have compassion, enthusiasm and want to make a real difference within the education sector
- DBS on the Enhanced DBS

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and will be offered work on successfully passing Now Education’s compliance checks. You will need to have an Enhanced DBS on the update service to work in schools.
