We are seeking a highly organised, professional, and friendly Office Manager to join our busy secondary school reception team in Manchester. This is a key role at the heart of our school community, providing a warm and efficient welcome to parents, visitors, and staff, while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our school office.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the school reception and office

Act as the first point of contact for all school visitors, including parents and external professionals

Manage incoming communications including phone calls, emails, and enquiries with professionalism and discretion

Use school data systems (e.g. SIMS, Arbor, or similar) to maintain accurate student and staff records
-
Coordinate administrative support for senior leaders and teaching staff
-
Ensure school policies and safeguarding procedures are followed at all times

Support with attendance monitoring, admissions, and other pupil-related administration
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working in a school administrative environment – ideally within a secondary school

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with parents, students, and staff

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Proficiency in school data systems (e.g. SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom)
