The school are looking for an enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to inspire and engage students in the exploration of History, Geography, and Social Sciences. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality lessons that challenge and motivate students to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons at KS3 and 4 including GCSE Level.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and promote academic excellence.
- Establish effective classroom management strategies to create a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Contribute to the development of the humanities curriculum and participate in departmental meetings and professional development.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialisation in Humanities subjects (History, Geography, or Social Sciences).
- Proven experience in teaching humanities at the secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for fostering a love of learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
