Now Education are recruiting for long term roles starting immediately in local secondary schools and colleges in and around Wythenshawe.
We are seeking teaching assistants to work on a 1:1 basis with young people who have SEND and SEMH.
NOW Education works closely with our client schools and colleges and we are looking for passionate individuals to join them and work in established teams.
We have many long term and full time options available and many of our opportunities can go from temporary to permanent for the right candidate.
Most of our schools have a start time from around 8.30am – 3.30pm.
To be considered for a position you must have;
Experience supporting young people with SEND and SEMH.
Experience in schools or have relevant skills through another role such as support work.
Be comfortable working with students on a 1:1 basis, providing motivation and support to engage with lessons/workshops/activities.
Have excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students.
A valid enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
Be available 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.
