Key Responsibilities:
– Provide one-on-one support to students with complex needs, assisting them with their learning and personal development.
– Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create and implement individualised support plans.
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional well-being.
– Assist with personal care tasks, including feeding, toileting, and mobility support, as required.
– Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents/guardians.
– Support students during outings and extracurricular activities, ensuring their safety and engagement.
Requirements:
– Previous experience working within a SEN setting.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
– Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
– Flexibility and adaptability to meet the individual needs of students.
– A positive and proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
