Primary teaching assistant | Kidderminster | Long term position
The primary team at Now Education are currently looking to recruit a teaching assistant to work within a fantastic school located in the Kidderminster area. The successful candidate would be joining a supportive team within a well run school.
The role available would be 8.30am – 3.30pm each day, Monday to Friday. The position available would initially be until the end of the school with with an opportunity to continue into the next school year.
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with the class teacher to create a positive learning environment within the class room.
- Communicate effectively with staff, children and parents.
- Provide individual and group support to pupils, and monitor student progress.
- To manage behaviour expectations within the class.
- Be flexible in your approach when working with the children.
Candidate specifications:
- A relevant teaching assistant qualification or relevant degree.
- Experience of working within a primary school setting.
- Have experience of working with children who have additional needs.
