Primary Teacher – SEND

Now Education are seeking a passionate and skilled SEND Primary Teacher to work in a specialist primary school in Manchester. This rewarding role involves teaching and supporting pupils with significant and complex needs, including children with autism (both verbal and non-verbal) who are working at very low developmental and academic levels.

Candidate Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience of teaching in SEND schools or specialist settings.
  • A deep understanding of autism and strategies for working with both verbal and non-verbal learners.
  • Ability to differentiate learning effectively for pupils working at very low academic levels.
  • Passion, patience, and creativity to adapt lessons and promote inclusion.
