Now Education are recruiting for a popular community minded primary special school located near Sheldon, Birmingham.

All of the amazing children who attend this school have an Education and Health Care Plan. They educate pupils with complex and multiple needs, who may have Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and/or a diagnosis of an Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC). Some children have additional needs including visual impairment and hearing impairment.

Having the right people join our team is really important to us. We are looking to appoint a Qualified Teaching Assistant who is confident catering for profound and multiple learning difficulties.

Essential –

  • Level 2/3 TA qualification
  • Experience with catering for pupils with SEND, specifically PMLD
  • Shows resilience
  • Can commit to full-time working hours

Desirable –

  • MAKATON, PECS
