Nursery Nurse

Salford

We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Nursery Nurse to work until July 2025 with our nursery based in Salford. The successful candidate will be integrated as part of the team on a long term supply basis. You will working 36 hours per week, Monday-Friday and this includes one half day per week! You will be earning over £550 per week, with the rate set to increase early next year too!
Our setting has lots of excellent facilities available to staff and children and is dedicated to providing a high standard of care.

Key Responsibilities:
– Support the child in engaging with educational activities and routines.
– Work closely with the nursery team to implement tailored learning and development plans.
– Nappy changing and toileting
– Foster positive relationships with parents and carers to ensure continuity of care.
– Monitor and track the child’s progress and report to the nursery manager.
– Ensure the safety and well-being of the child at all times.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:
– Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent).
– Experience working with children in an early years setting.
– Understanding of the needs of children with additional needs.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
– Passion for supporting children’s development and well-being.
– DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
Desirable:
– First aid training.
