Are you a SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a new role in a Salford School?
Now Education are delighted to be working in partnership with a SEND Primary school in Salford who require a teaching assistant to work on a full time and long term basis.
The school caters for Key Stage 2 pupils who have an Education Health Care Plan for Profound, Complex and Challenging Learning Needs. Many of the pupils have Autism, Speech Language and Communication needs, Medical Needs, Physical Disabilities and Medical Needs.
The successful candidate will enjoy working with a committed staff team who provide a meaningful curriculum which ensures all pupils enjoy carefully planned holistic learning experiences.
The ideal candidate will have some experience working with children and young people who have a range of SEND. This doesn’t need to be within a school based setting, the school will consider transferable skills from all SEND settings.
The ability to use Makaton/PECS would be a real advantage.
The role is to start after the Easter Holidays and continue until the end of the academic year and beyond. There is the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
The hours of work are Monday – Friday 8.30-16.00 on a long term and full time basis.
