Now Education are working in partnership with a secondary school in the Boston area who are looking to appoint a ‘Head of Maths’. This is a full-time, permeant role to commence in January 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the development of maths and ensuring the curriculum aligns with nation standards
- Build and maintain relationships with colleagues across to share best practices, recourses and professional learning opportunities
- Set high expectations for student achievement and ensure all students are provided with the necessary support and recourses to succeed.
- Directing and supervising the work of teaching assistants
Requirements:
- QTS / QTLS / PGCE or other relevant teaching qualifications
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons across different age groups
- National professional qualification for senior leadership (NPQSL) or working towards
- Excellent subject knowledge
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with students
