Are you a passionate and dynamic Geography teacher looking for a new opportunity? Now Education are working with a school who are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join their team on a long-term supply basis, bringing enthusiasm, expertise, and a commitment to fostering a love for Geography in their students.

The role is to start in January 2024 and continue until the end of the academic year.

There is a possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Geography lessons for students across KS3 and KS4.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Geography at least up to GCSE Level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Geography.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
