Design and Technology Teacher

Now Education are looking for an experienced DT/Engineering teacher to work with secondary schools in the Lincoln and surrounding areas.

We have a range of roles from day to day, short-term and long-term roles. Whether you are an ECT looking for your first teaching role or an experienced teaching looking for a new role, we are here to support you with securing your desired role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation, planning and teaching DT/Engineering across KS3 and KS4 – an option for delivering pre-planned lessons will also be considered
  • Providing engaging and interactive teaching that caters to various learning styles and abilities
  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring that students adhere to school rules and policies
  • Building rapport with students and establishing productive relationships with fellow staff members

Requirements:

  • QTS / QTLS / PGCE or other relevant teaching qualifications
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons across different age groups
  • Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in new environments and embrace varied teaching methods
  • Effective classroom management skills to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with students
