Now Education are currently working with a SEN school for children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties and associated challenging behaviours.
The school is a fantastic partner school of Now Education and is looking to secure a SEMH Classroom Assistant/Behaviour Mentor to join their team on a full-time basis with a view to progressing into a permanent role due to a recent increase in their student intake.
This is a challenging role, but the rewards are incomparable to any other job.

The successful candidate will need to provide evidence of experience and knowledge specifically of working with young people who have SEMH in the following areas and must have previous experience in working with young people with SEMH needs, including physically challenging behaviours, and be able to support young people with emotional regulation.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Level 3 TA qualification
- Have a passion for working with children and have the ability to successfully promote their wellbeing and personal development
- Is motivated by seeing the progression and development of others
- Has high expectations of our children, your colleagues and yourself
- Has a willingness to ‘go the extra mile’
- Has a sense of humour
- Has the ability to remain calm in testing situations and able to come back the next day and do it all again with a smile
