Are you a recent Psychology Graduate with aspirations to train as an Educational Psychologist based in Salford?

Perhaps you have experience supporting children or young people with SEND, and would like to help them overcome barriers to learning in a Secondary or SEND school?

If you have had experience in working or volunteering with children or young people who are neurodiverse or have other additional needs as part of your course, then it is likely that you have valuable skills and experiences that are essential when working with young people in a school setting.

Now Education are working with a range of SEND and Secondary Schools in Salford who require Learning Support Staff to work with children and young people who have a range of additional needs such as Autism, SEMH, Complex and Challenging Behaviour.

The role of Learning Support Assistant involves working with children and young people on either a 1:1 or small group basis helping them remain on task and focussed.

The ability to build positive and productive relationships quickly is key.

The role is Monday – Friday 8.30am-4.00pm starting on the 20th April and continuing until the end of the academic year and beyond. There are opportunities for permanent positions for the right candidates.
