Now Education is a premier provider of staffing solutions for educational institutions. We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants with a Level 1 Care Certificate to join our team and support students at Wirral Met College.
Interviews will take place at 10am on Tuesday 2nd July.
As a Care Assistant at Wirral Met College, you will provide essential care and support to students, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. You will work closely with educational staff to create a safe and nurturing environment, enabling students to fully engage with their learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and medical assistance to students, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Support students with daily activities, including mobility, feeding, and personal hygiene.
- Assist in the implementation of individual care plans.
- Monitor and report on students’ health and well-being to relevant staff.
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment for all students.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to meet the individual needs of each student.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in students’ conditions.
- Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Level 1 Care Certificate is essential.
- Experience with the use of hoists is useful but not essential.
- Previous experience in a care assistant role.
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to promoting the well-being and inclusion of all students.
