Responsibilities
- Delivering engaging English lessons to students in a primary/secondary school setting.
- Planning and organizing lessons according to curriculum guidelines.
- Assessing and evaluating student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborating with other teachers and staff members to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Participating in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.
- Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behaviour.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in English or related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience as an English teacher in a primary/secondary school setting.
- Excellent knowledge of English language, literature, and grammar.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Familiarity with current teaching methods and curriculum standards.
- Valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
